British Council - International School Award - May 2011
The school is delighted to say that we have just achieved our ‘Intermediate’ Award for being an International School.
As you are no doubt aware, the school has been working in conjunction with Nsawo Primary School in Uganda and Victoria School, Burton on Trent. Mr Cruise submitted an application for the intermediate award and was pleased with the immediate response stating that we have covered also many considerable elements for the Full International School Award.Mr Cruise is currently investigating ways of obtaining a ‘Reciprocal Visits’ grant to enable a staff exchange with our Ugandan school to further develop our curriculum and the coverage of global issues.
