School Partnerships

Victoria Community School, Burton upon Trent

In order to promote equality and diversity in school, links have been created between Y6 here at Shobnall and Y6 at Victoria Community School in Burton. This liaison has involved the children being partnered in a pen-pal scheme and exchanging frequent letters. In addition to this, Shobnall has also played host to Victoria children and staff, and we have visited their school.  This gave children from both schools the opportunity to meet each other face to face after writing lots of letters. It was fantastic to see the children interacting with one another so enthusiastically, and many friendships were formed. We hope that this link with Victoria can continue long into the future.

 

 

 

As part of the Census Project, we also designed and swapped personal profiles, giving information about ourselves in a fact-file format.
