Headteacher
Being Headteacher of Shobnall Primary School is a huge privilege and is a position I am highly motivated and passionate about. I am an advocate for reading and the Arts in particular but my sole motivation, which is at the heart of everything I do, is the children. “Happy Children, Inspired Learners” is not only the mission statement for our school, but mirrors my own mantra for what I believe school should be about – fun! I believe in empowering every child with the opportunity to achieve and have a lifelong enjoyment for learning. All achievements should be celebrated and every person within the school community should feel valued and respected.
Outside of school, I have many interests and hobbies. I am partial to a game of bingo from time-to-time, enjoy a spot of Zumba and like to indulge in some light reality TV and the occasional soap opera. Mainly though, it’s my young daughter who keeps me very busy when I’m not in school!
