Year 2 had a lot of fun this week at our first Forest School session this school year. We have been incorporating our theme: ‘To Infinity and Beyond’ into our activities. We started off refreshing our minds with the Forest school rules and safety checks. Children created superhero masks using natural materials. After that, children safely used loppers to chop large sticks down, ready for a future activity. Finally, children had chance to explore the Forest school area, identifying differences and building dens. As usual we finished our Session with a hot chocolate and biscuit!
