Welcome to Shobnall Primary School!

Thank you for visiting our website, which we hope you find useful and informative.

Shobnall Primary School is a happy, successful and busy Primary school where we place significant emphasis on raising expectations and aspirations. As a school, we pride ourselves in placing children at the centre of all we do, focusing on their academic and personal development and reaching their potential in both.

We are incredibly proud of our caring and thoughtful children and also of our wonderful, dedicated staff who provide a learning environment and school ethos in which children can flourish and develop an enthusiasm for learning. As a school, we pride ourselves on high levels of pupil academic achievement because this is a school where achievement and endeavour are acknowledged and celebrated from a range of aptitudes and skills.

We are proud of our school community and work in partnership with our parents to inspire the children to believe in themselves and achieve the highest of standards. Our parents provide support for both their children and the school and the active PFA always look to engage with the children and the community to ensure that the experiences for the school family are wide and varied.

Our most recent Ofsted (January 2012) judged us as ‘Outstanding’.  They recognised the strong teamwork and positive relationships with all sections of the community and the outstanding care and provision which is provided for our pupils. We intend to build upon this so that we continue to ensure our pupils are happy and are able to achieve the very best they can in our nurturing school environment.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and if you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely
