The children were extremely excited this week for our second visit to Forest School. This week we started off the session by going to Charlotte James’ drive to collect sticks for our session next week. We then came back to school and entered the forest School area where we had a quick recap on rules and boundaries. Due to popular demand we played ‘The Eagle King’ warm up game again. This week we were taking a look at the leaves that can be found in the Forest School area. The children set off to find different shaped leaves and then completed a key to find out which leaf we had. We also had time to finish off our dream catchers from last week. The session finished with hot chocolate, biscuits and a story that involved the children having to repeat phrases said by Mrs Howell. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and we can’t wait until next week’s session.
