Week 4

We kicked off today’s session with a trust game, where the children had to work in pairs. Each person took it in turns to slowly fall on their partner and catch them.

The children used the palm drill to drill holes in their deathly Hallows cookies created in a previous session and added wool to make necklaces.

While exploring the forest school area the children created their own golden snitch using mud and feather. They especially like digging up the mud and getting rather messy.

As a group the children used natural materials and flour (for footprints) to create a large ‘Mischief is Managed’ image on the soil. The final activity the children were able to complete was creating Aragon’s family to add to our superb giant web. The children used hand drills, wood cookies, pine cones and pipe cleaners to make their spiders.

The session ended with a sing song around the fire and a hot chocolate. We are super excited to carry on our forest school session after half term.
