Week One at Forest School
The first week of Forest School for the Year Four’s saw the class familiarising themselves with the area and the safety rules. The session started off with a story based upon an old Native American tale which involved the children moving around the Forest School area whenever they heard a certain word. The children were given the task of working as part of a team in order to create a dream catcher. They could choose to use some of the materials provided or to collect and use materials found in Forest School.
